Jeffery (Crash)
Fredrick Lomond
May 13, 1960 — Mar 24, 2024
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Jeffery Fredrick Lomond, affectionately known as Crash, announce his sudden passing at McDougalls Gulch, NL on Sunday, March 24th, 2024, at the age of 63 years. Born in Port aux Basques, NL, Crash was the son of the late Fredrick and Ruth Lomond (nee Kettle). He was also predeceased by his father-in-law, Issac Patey; his second mom, Judy Edmunds; good friend Johnny Tapp; many aunts and uncles, and waiting for him at rainbow bridge were Demon, Sisko and Zelda.
Leaving behind is his loving wife of 19 wonderful years together; Janice (nee Patey); children, Tommy (Rebecca), Nicole (Jeremy), and Caitlin (Jordan); mother in-law, Nora Patey; sister, Joy (Brad) Gillam and their kids; Chad and Jenna; his fur babies, Charlie, Disaster, Demolition, Destroyer, and Bandito.
He will also be dearly missed by his sisters and brothers in-law; Alice Patey, Loriann (Grant) Rodgers, Margaret Patey (Mike), Mike (Sueann) and Ray (Bonnie) Patey; aunts and uncles; Gladys Seymour, Elsie (Reg) Taylor, Rosanna Lomond, Bobby Lomond, Eneas(Linda) Lomond, Sandra Kettle, Nelson Kettle, Edie (Ron) March, Rachel (Walter) Osmond, Yvonne Short, Elias (Bernice) Osmond, and Una Osmond; his girl, Felicia Lemoine; dear friends, Dwayne Blackmore, Edward Kettle, Becca LeRiche, Nolan Herritt, Tony and Dawson Brinson, Dennis Kettle, Craig Lomond, Timothy Blackmore, and George Wall; plus a very large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A real jokester, whose heart was bigger then his body. Crash had a zest for life, and loved everything about it. He always had to be on the go working or doing something. A family man and people person, who was so incredibly thoughtful that he would never miss a birthday and always knew what to say to make someone feel good. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a huge animal lover. One of his greatest joys though - riding the open road on his motorcycle.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday March 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home, 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques, NL. The funeral will take place on Wednesday, March 27th at 2 pm at St. Pauls Anglican Church officiated by Rev. Faye Coffin. Cremation will follow and interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Crash's memory can be to the family. Funeral arrangements were in the care of East Haven Funeral Home Inc, 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques, NL. info@easthavenfuneralhome.com (709)-695-2300 www.easthavenfuneralhome.com
