Nearly reaching his 100th year, he lived a quiet, hardworking life. A dedicated employee of Marine Atlantic for over 30 years as a Fifth Wheel operator, he was a man who believed in doing his own work and doing it well. He had a love for carpentry, a deep faith in his church, and a private nature that spoke through his actions rather than words. After the passing of his beloved wife, he surprised many by learning to play the guitar, proving that it's never too late to find new music in life.
