It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Thomas Lawrence announces his passing on Sunday April 5 at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center at the age of 63 years. James was predeceased by his father James Thomas Lawrence Sr., brother Henry, sister Ann Lawrence Fudge (John), nephews; Johnny, Shawn, nieces; Monica, Joanne, Maxine. He leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories his son Wade (Nancy) Lawrence Greenwood NS, grandchildren Morgan, Macy and his mother Lillian Lawrence of Port aux Basques. He will forever remain in the hearts of his brothers and sisters; Emmanuel (Linda) Lawrence Port aux Basques, Frances (Max) Day, Audrey (Jim) Russell all of Lewisporte NL, Don (Wanda) Lawrence Port aux Basques, Alex (Juanita) Lawrence Alberta, Ken (Peggy) Lawrence Port aux Basques, Gloria (Kevin) Mabee Lewisporte NL, Howard (Ada) Lawrence ON, Marina (Ted) Skeard Port aux Basques, Diane (Donald) Foote Ontario, special Friend Beatrice Cormier Noel's Pond, NL and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation took place on Tuesday April 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home. The funeral service took place on Wednesday April 8, 4 PM at St. James Anglican Church, Channel officiated by Rev. Clayton Billard. In keeping with James' wishes cremation followed and the interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family.
