It is with great sadness that the family of the late James (Jim) Albert Blackmore announces his peaceful passing on Wednesday, October 20 ^th , 2021 at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 72 years. Jim was predeceased by his parents that raised him at the age of one year; James and Sarah MacDonald (nee Clevett), step-brother; Benjamin MacDonald, his birth parents; George and Mary Blackmore (nee Clevett), brothers; Richard (Gertie) Blackmore, Brainard (Betty) Blackmore, sisters; Lillian Lace, Hannah (Jack) Keeping, Eileen (Fred) Battiste, nephews; Henry Keeping, Anthony Francis, niece; Minnie Marie, sister-in-law; Jane Blackmore, brother-in-law; Ronald Keeping

Jim leaves behind with many fond and precious memories his loving wife of 37 years; Darlene Blackmore (nee Farrell), son; Jamie (Michelle) Blackmore of Grande Prairie, AB, daughter; Danielle (Kevin) Webb of Terrace, BC, 10 precious grandchildren who he loved dearly; Brady, Kyla, Talan, Kingston, Graycee, Kache, Jagger, Taylor, Grace, Jaxon, brother; Gerald (Margaret) Blackmore, George Blackmore, sisters; Esther Pearce, Judy Keeping, father and mother-in-law; Tom and Maud Farrell, brothers-in-law; Danny Farrell, Dennis (Shawnda) Farrell, David Farrell, Derrick (Tammy) Farrell, and sister-in-law; Margo (Terry) Keeping. Jim also leaves behind his special nephew; Bob Blackmore and special niece; Roxanne, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Jim loved his family, loved to joke around and help ever needed help. He will remain in our hearts forever.

In keeping with Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 22 ^nd from 7-9 p.m. from East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand bay Road, Port aux Basques. A celebration of Jim's life and interment will be at a later date.
