It is with great sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of Isreal (Bo) James Seymour at the age of 70, on October 19, 2023 at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Center in Channel Port aux Basques, NL. Isreal was the son of the late William and Jessie Seymour. He is predeceased by his wife Sarah, as well as his in-laws William and Alice Remo; sisters, Winnie, Marie, and brother Albert.

Leaving to morn with precious memories, his loving partner Louise; son, Scott; daughter, Amy (Darin); his grandchildren, William, Allie and his little buddy Cooper. As well as his son Norman and daughter Jeanna of PEI and their families and his bonus kids, Terry (Sandi), Tracy (Mike) and their families.

Isreal was an outgoing man, helpful to anyone and everyone, no job was too big or small. He worked hard his whole life mainly in the marine industry, he loved working on the ocean. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at the camp, he was a true outdoorsman. He was a good man, he loved his family dearly, there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for them. He will sadly be missed by a large family and many wonderful friends.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 21st , 2023 from 2-4 PM at East Haven Funeral Home Inc, 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques, NL and from 11AM -12 PM on Monday October 23rd, at Faith United Church,4 Clements Road, Burgeo NL.  The funeral service will take place on Monday, October 23rd, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Faith United Church, 4 Celements Road, Burgeo, NL, officiated by Rev. Matchem. Internment to follow at Burgeo Community Cemetery. Flowers are graciously accepted and donations in Isreal's memory can be made to the family.
