Today our lives changed forever as we lost a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Isaac Robert Patey announce his passing at his residence in Cape Ray with his loving family by his side on Thursday, August 19 ^th , 2021 at the age of 97 years. Born in Middle Barachois, Isaac was the son of the late Robert and Annie Patey. He was also predeceased by his son; Robert, his brothers; Llewellyn, George, Ross and Norman, sisters; Mary Alice Hodder and Gertrude Patey, plus several brothers and sisters-in-laws.

Leaving to morn with many fond and loving memories his wife Nora of 53 years. He will also be loved and missed by his children; Alice Patey, Loriann (Grant) Rodgers, Margaret Patey, Raymond Patey (Bonnie), Michael Patey and Janice (Jeff) Lomond. He will always be the light of his grandchildren and great-grandchildrens eyes. Jennifer (Leonard), Andrew (Dawn), Felicia (Jeff), Jonathan (Lindsey), Paula (Brandon), Jordan (Hillary), Tommy (Emma), Nicole Patey, Caitlin (Corey), Nicholas Janes, Connor Patey and Natalie Patey, great-grandchildren; Riley, Trinity, Carley, Kalleigh, Ariana, Jack and Nixon, along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He will be missed by his sister; Emily Short and his brother and sisters-in-laws; Rachel (Walter) Osmond, Yvonne (Clifford) Short, Elias (Bernice) Osmond and Susie Parsons.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 21 ^st from 7-9 p.m and on Sunday, August 22 ^nd from 2-4 and 7 -9 p.m from East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 23 ^rd at 2:00 p.m from St. John The Evangelist Church in Cape Ray officiated by Rev. Faye Coffin. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill, TCH . Flowers are graciously accepted and donations in Isaac's memory can be made to a charity of one's choice.
