It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Ian Kevin Bown announce his sudden passing at his residence in Edmonton, Alberta on Sunday, July 11 ^th , 2021 at the age of 40 years. Ian was predeceased by his uncle; Melvin Bown and his grandparents; Howard (Gertie) Bown and Byatt (Gertie) Cumben.

Ian will forever remain in the hearts of his loving parents; Raymond and Elizabeth Bown and his two sons; Jaxon and Knox who were his pride and joy. Ian leaves behind his aunts and uncles; Cyril (Bernie) Bown, Nelson (Doreen) Bown, Linda (Cyril) Cutler, Bert (Margaret) Bown, Daisy (Tom) Kelly, Addison (Irene) Bown, Ernest (Wendy) Bown, Pearl Cumben, Joyce (Allen) Pittman, and Joyce Bown, plus a large circle of cousins, extended family and many friends.

A virtual service of remembrance and thanksgiving for Ian's life will take place on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 2 p.m. from East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques.
