It is with great sadness that the family of the late Henry Short announces his passing at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on May 24, 2015 at the age of 61 years. He was predeceased by his Father Emmanuel Short and sister Linda Lorraine Osmond. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother Bessie Short Port aux Basques, son Philip (Angeline) Short Sherwood Park AB, daughter Tara (Jason) Stringer Spruce Grove AB, grandchildren Alex, Jesse, Jordan, Lilly, Holly, Ryan & Matthew, siblings Gordon (Lucy) Short Saint Chrysostome PEI, Wayne (Sheila) Short Emyvale PEI, Diane (Willie) Short, Ricky (Ada) Short, and Alisa (Jeff) Chard all of Port of Basques plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In keeping with Henry's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation took place on Friday, May 29 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM from East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Saturday, May 30 at 2 PM from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Wayne Short officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
