It is with great sadness that the family of the late Henry Gerald Lomond announces his passing on Sunday, October 29th, 2023 at Mount Pearl St. John's, NL at the age of 86 years. Born in Grand Bay, NL. Gerald was the son of the late Thomas and Frances (Harris) Lomond. He is predeceased by his wife; Ellen Elizabeth Lomond.

Gerald leaves behind his loving children, Jeffery (Sylvia) Lomond of Mount Pearl, NL, Sharon Gallant of Lower Sackville, NS, Raymond (Michelle) Lomond of Beaver Bank, NS; extended family, Terry (Janet) Osmond of Port Aux Basques, NL. Gerald will forever remain in the hearts of his grandchildren, Jennifer, Nadine, Jeanette, Samantha, Joshua, Katie, Mitchell; great-grandchildren Lucas, Loyal, Jeanne Anne, Kimberly, and Dawson; brother, John (Nina) Lomond; sister, Winetta Lomond; brothers-in-law, John (Sarah) Osmond of Searston, NL, Gerry (Susie) Osmond, Charlie (Jessie) Osmond, Alex (Karen) Osmond of Port Aux Basques, NL, Arch (Anne) Osmond of Florence NS, Ron (Mary) Osmond of Kingston, NS, Ralph Osmond in Lewin's Cove, NL, Wilson (Winetta) of Sarnia, Ontario; sister-in-law, Evelyn (Roland) Kettle of Port Aux Basques, NL, plus a large circle of nieces, nephew's, extended family and many friends.

During his lifetime Gerald has touched many people within the community with his involvement with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 11 and the poppy campaign, he was truly a gift to everyone.
Flowers will be graciously accepted, or donations can be made to St. James Anglican Church.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 at 7-9 PM for family members and Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 PM for everyone at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at St. James Anglican Church on Friday, November 3rd, 2023 at 2 PM, officiated by Rev Jane Allen. In keeping with Gerald's wishes, cremation will follow and interment will take place at St. James Anglican cemetery on Sunday, November 5th, 2023 at 2 PM.
