CALDWELL, HAROLD GUY Age 67. Passed away peacefully at Port Aux Basques hospital on June 23, 2023, after a brief but brave cancer battle.

Harold is survived by his children, Steven (Marilee), Sandra, Sheila (Kimberly) and their Mother Heather. Harold will be very missed by his beloved grandchildren Jordan, Nevaeh, Serenity, and Peyton. Harold also leaves behind Brothers, Earl (Joanne) & Brian, Sister Karen (Bert), niece Sarah, his partner Alice and loyal pal Dusty.

From the age of 19 Harold had a love of the open road. He spent his career as a long-haul truck driver, affectionately known to his friends as "Homer"; Harold was known to share his driving knowledge, experience, quick wit, and dry sense of humor with all those he met along the way.

Harold was predeceased by his parents Ian & Jean Caldwell of Fort Ellis, NS.

Cremation has taken place and as per Harold's wishes, there will be no public service. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks Dr. Kate Lafferty, Corner Brook ICU staff, and the Palliative care teams in both Corner Brook and Port Aux Basques for the care and respect given to Harold during his illness and to Steven Caldwell for being at his father's side until the end.
