"Worked Hard – Job Done"

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gordon Patrick Gale in his 89 ^th year on Wednesday, May 3 ^rd 2023. He passed away peacefully at Dr Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre following a brief illness surrounded by his family.

He was predeceased by his Wife, Clara, (Gallant), infant son Gordon Douglas, his Parents, John and Jessie Gale, brothers, Edward (Ned), Johnny, Paul, Bern, Mike, Gerald, Andy and his only sister Loretta. He is survived by his Brothers Frank, Wallace, Robert and Pius as well as his Children, Gordon Gale (Rosemary), Shelia Gale, Richard Gale, Clayton Gale (Sharon), Conrad Gale (Darlene), Lynn Chapman (Steve), Roslyn Nodine (Jim), Glen Gale (Pamela) and Les Gale (Leah), 20 Grandchildren, each one having their own list stories and memories of Pop as well as 23 Great Grand Children and 1 Great Great Grand child.

Over a long, well lived life, Gordon made many friends and acquaintances through his extensive work career. He helped many people in any way he could and created employment for his family and many others. His passions included heavy equipment, logging, and anything mechanical.

The entire family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Al Nabbott and Staff at the Charles LeGrow Health Centre, his personal care workers, Monica Gale, who spent countless hours taking such great care of Dad and previously by Cassidy English MacIsaac.

Visitation will be at St. Sylvester's Church in South Branch Thursday May 4th, 2023, from 7 – 9 PM, and the funeral service on Friday May 5th, 2023, at St. Sylvester's Church at 3 PM. Interment to follow at St. Sylvester's Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of East Haven Funeral Home.
