It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gladys Lawrence announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L. Legrow Health Centre on November 1st, 2023 at the age of 96 years.

Gladys was the daughter of late Ambrose and Julie Ann Billard. She was also predeceased by her loving husband Daniel Lawrence; daughter Martha; son Gordon; grandchildren Shawn Hatcher and Cathy Fae; and great-grandson, Ben Lawrence; brothers, Levi, Clarence and Ambrose; and sisters, Margaret LeFrense and Geraldine Francis.

She leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories her sons: Willard (Fay), Raymond (Patsy), Danny (Liz), Perry (Susan), Dean (Norma), Bobby (Denise), Scott (Sandra). Daughters, Louise (Phil) Hatcher, Bonnetta (Wes) Organ, Julie Lawrence (Don Strickland), Ann (Nelson) Samms, Coreen (Kevin) Skinner, Maisie (Percy) Evans, Marilyn Badduik (Brad Pearson), Shaunna Lawrence, Tracy (Darren) Button; and daughter-in-law, Wanda Lawrence. Grandsons, Ricky, Warren, Chris, Todd, Marco, Matthew, Clifford, Myles, Nicholas, Bret, Adam, Lucas, Cody, Jake and Charlie; granddaughters, Shelley, Coreen, Bonnie, Melody, Tina, Melissa, Lisa, Holly, Monica, Julia, Dawn, Suzan, Megan, Baili, Sami, Katherine, Jessie and Sarah, 40 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; brothers; Winter (Ann), Lindsey (Bernice). Sisters: Louise Lucas, Harriet Green, Eileen (Ephraim) Herritt and Marilyn Smith and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 4th, and Sunday, November 5th, 2023 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle-aux-morts, NL. The funeral service will take place on Monday, November 6th, 2023 at 2 PM at Holy Spirit Anglican Chruch in Isle-aux-morts, officiated by Deacon Herb Park. Internment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Route 470. Flowers are graciously accepted and donations in Gladys' memory can be made to the Holy Spirit Anglican Church.
