It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Gina Ann Osmond announce her peaceful passing on Friday, November 1st, 2024 at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 62 years. Born in Bell Island, to the late Leonard Costello and Mary Hibbs. She was also predeceased by her aunts and uncles Brendan, Ellen, Theresa, Lillian, Michael, Henry, Pete, Josephine, Will, Gerald, Ray, and Louis; step-aunts May and Francis; and her favorite furry companion- her beloved Shih Tzu Buster who was waiting for her at rainbow bridge.
Leaving to mourn with precious memories, her loving husband of 22 years, Percey Osmond; and her only son, Tyler. She will also be missed by her brothers Leonard, Louis (Colleen) and Blair (Andrea); brother in-law Mark (Melanie); aunts Suzanne, Elizabeth and Katherine; uncle Marty; family Karen and Paul; plus a large circle of cousins and friends; and small circle of nieces and nephews.
Gina was a caring person who loved a good laugh and to joke with people. She adored her husband and son, they were everything to her. Back in her younger days she loved to hang out with her Uncle Harry Hibbs, at his club "The Caribou Club" in Toronto, she enjoyed playing darts, but her favorite was a good game of Bingo.
Special thanks to her home care worker Alicia Renouf for the exceptional care and compassion given to Gina as well as the doctors, nurses and staff at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre.
