Gerald Nathan
Musseau
Jun 20, 1965 — Jul 16, 2026
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald Nathan Musseau announces his passing on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the age of 61 years. Gerald passed away peacefully in his sleep after a battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Anna Musseau, and his nephew, Thomas Sparkes.
He will be deeply missed by his children: Brandi (Jesse) Emberley, Tristan (Brittany) Blackmore, and Taylen (Mallory) Musseau. He also leaves to mourn, his grandchildren: Kobi, Jackson, Lucy, Charlotte, and Emric. He will also be remembered by his sisters: Dood (Ab) Francis, Irene (Lou) Sparkes, and Grace (Gary) Stagg, as well as his nieces and nephews — Gary, Sherri, Louann, Jannatta, Brad, Tammy, and Shavon — and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
A proud Newfoundlander, Gerald was an iron worker and a dedicated member of the Iron workers Local 764, also holding a travel card with Local 720. He took great pride in his trade and the people he worked alongside, and he loved sharing stories of his time on the road and the projects he helped build. Even near the end of his life, those stories continued.
Life took Gerald down a difficult path, but beneath it all was a man who would have given the shirt off his back to someone in need. His children remember the father behind the struggles and find comfort in the meaningful moments and conversations they shared with him in his final days. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.
