It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Freeman Reid announces his peaceful passing on Saturday December 31 at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center at the age of 91 years. Born in Codroy, he was the son of the late George and Lillian May Reid. He was also predeceased by his brothers William, Nathan, Walter, Arthur, sister Charlotte and brother in law Edward Samms. He leaves to mourn with many loving memories his only sister Dorcas Samms of Kingston Ontario and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation taking place on Tuesday January 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Codroy from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday January 5, 2 pm officiated by Rev. Harold Harvey. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Codroy or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
