It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Gaulton, who left us peacefully on March 9, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on May 7, 1943, George was a loving husband, a dedicated father, and a cherished friend to all who knew him.

George is survived by his brother Tom (Madonna), his sisters Effie and Doreen, and his sister-in-law Ann. He was the proud father of Debbie (Alvin), Chris, Craig, and David,. His legacy continues with his 4 grandchildren Scott (Jillian), Lori (Zack), Lilly, and Wyatt as well as two great-grandchildren, Sadie and Ellie Francis.

George was predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret, as well as his siblings Walter, Gloria, Ted, Ivy, Samuel, Absalom, Chay, and Jean.

A devoted family man, George's life was marked by his kindness, humour, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In keeping with Georges wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside prayer with interment will take place at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill, NL officiated by Rev. Jane Allen.

A very special thank you to George and Margaret's TLC support workers over the years. Words cannot describe how special you all are to the family. Your compassionate care went above and beyond expectations and allowed George the dignity of staying in his home until the very end.
