It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we the family of the late Gary Edmunds announces his passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Monday, November 30 ^th , 2020 at the age of 66 years. Born in Burnt Islands, NL, Gary was the son of the late John and Lillian Edmunds (nee Organ). He was also predeceased by his brothers Leo Edmunds and James Edmunds.

Gary leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving sisters; June (George) Lillington, Marlene (John) Kendell, Vanessa Anderson (Colin) all of Port aux Basques, Renee Nunn of North Sydney, NS, and brother; Keith (Velma) Edmunds of Burnt Islands, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. David Blecher and the nurses at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre for the wonderful care given to Gary. Thank you to his special buddies for always calling and checking in to see how Gary was doing. Your love and compassion will be never forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3 ^rd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, December 3 ^rd , following the visitation from East Haven Funeral Home Inc. officiated by Rev. Jane Allen. In keeping with Gary's wishes, cremation will follow. Interment will take place on Saturday, December 5 ^th at 2 pm at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road, NL officiated by The Rev. Canon Jeffrey Petten. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's memory can be made to the family.
