It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we, the family of the late Frances Kettle (nee Lomond), announce her peaceful passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Monday, March 7 ^th , 2022 at the age of 91 years. Born in Grand Bay West, NL. Frances was the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Melinda Lomond (nee Billard). She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years; George Gordon Kettle, grandson; Glenn Gordon Pittman, father and mother-in-law; George William and Agnes Kettle (nee Chaulk), sisters; Hilda and Eve Kettle, b rothers; Ted and Clayton Lomond, b rothers-in-law; Wilson, Stan, Nathan, John and Charlie Kettle, sisters-in-law; Christine Lomond, Sheila Lomond, Gladys Kettle, Olive Kettle, Evangeline Marshall and Alice Bemister.

She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of precious memories her loving children; Alice (Charlie) Pittman of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Wayne (Florence) Kettle of Corner Brook, NL, Bonnie (Wolf) Ilmer of Grand Prairie, AB, g randchildren; Scott (Deanne) Pittman, Sheri (Dean) Johnson, Tara Kettle, Karla Kettle (Etienne), Donald Kettle, Natasha (Marc) Cheater, Crystal (Joe) Uchman, Kody Nuttall, Randy (Melissa) Ilmer, plus 16 great-grandchildren.

Frances also leaves behind her s ister; Rachel Hollett of Mahone Bay, NS, b rother; Doug Lomond, s isters-in-law; Viola Roberts and Julie Kempton, special n ephew; Roland Kettle (Evelyn) all of Port a ux Basques, NL, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11 ^th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques, NL . The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 12 ^th at 2 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Grand Bay-Port aux Basques, NL, officiated by Rev. Faye Coffin. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill, TCH. Due to the latest Government regulations your Newfoundland VaxPass, photo ID, masks and social distancing are required for entry to the visitation and church service.
