It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Fannie Murial Chislett (nee Skinner ) at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques on Thursday, January 28 ^th , 2021 at the age of 87 years. Born in Caines Island, NL, Fannie was the daughter of the late James and Maude Skinner (nee Parsons). She was also predeceased by her husband; Mon t ford Chislett, father and mother-in-law; William and Mary Chislett, son; Carter Chislett, brothers; Bill Skinner, Reuben (Betty) Skinner, sisters; Susie (Fred) Bennett, Cassi e (Henry) Spicer, Mary (Lewis) Strickland, and sister-in-law; Betty Skinner.

A special thank you to the staff at the Mountain Hope Manor for the wonderful care given to Fannie during her stay. Fannie will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 31 ^st , from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc . The funeral service will take place on Monday, February 1 ^st , at 11 am from St. James Anglican Church, Channel-Port aux Basques officiated by Rev. Jane Allen. Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Fannie's memory can be made to the family.
