It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Enos James "Jim" Stanley Drake announces his sudden passing which occurred peacefully at the Sir Thomas Roddrick Hospital in Stephenville on Saturday May 31st, 2025 at the age of 76. Jim was born on November 30th, 1948 to the loving parents of Stanley and Corella (Herridge) of Lally Cove.

Jim will be forever loved by his wife of 53 years Laura (Lawrence), his son Chris (Koren), his pride & joy his grand-babies Terri-Lynne, William (Sydney) and Austin and 2 great grand-babies Stella Rose and Salem.

Jim will be missed by his brothers Frank and Garfield, his sisters Ida, Velma, Isabelle and Laura. Jim also leaves behind his Lawrence family Jeannie (David), Sadie, Maggie, Tom (Pauline), George (Cora), Graham (Angela), Albie Lawrence, and Diane; Godchild Vanessa Fogh; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Jim is predeceased by his loving son Jimmy; parents in-law Wallace and Lucy Lawrence; his brothers and sisters Orlando (Lillian), Russell, George (Margret), Robert and Marion and his brother-in-laws Les and Stan and sister-in-laws Violet and Kay.

In keeping with Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at East Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, June 28th, from 2-4 and 7-8PM.  Funeral service will take place at St. James Anglican Church on Sunday June 29th at 2:30 PM,. officiated by Rev.
