It is with immense sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Elizabeth Cynthia Bruce (nee Musseau) announce her sudden passing on March 5, 2024. She was born in Port-Aux-Basques, NL to Levi Musseau and Joan O'Gorman (nee Campbell). Pre-deceased by her father Levi, and brother, Craig.

Cynthia leaves behind to mourn, her husband of nearly 43 years, William Bruce. Her children: Jamie (Jocelyn), Barbara, Donald (Bonnie), Kim (Steve), and Emily. Her beloved grandchildren: Justin, Nathan, Molly, Jack, Zavier, Saira, Noelle, Ryan, and Claire. Her mother, Joan O'Gorman. Siblings: Sharon (Ian), Danny (Tanya), Beverly (Vance), Wade (Rosemarie), Scott, Bernadette, Darryl (Kerri), Patricia. As well as a large extended family and many close life-long friends.

Cynthia's greatest joy was her family - her grandchildren in particular were the very light of her life. Her baking, gardening, and eye for design were among a few of her memorable gifts. She was selfless, had fierce courage, and astounding strength. Her family will forever carry precious memories of her kind heart and the love she shared. Cynthia was the definition of goodness.

The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to the first responders, East Haven Funeral Home, and to Cynthia's nephew, Christopher Bruce, for their compassion and support.

In keeping with the family's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
