Edward
Mcisaac
May 26, 1943 — Jan 21, 2026
It is with deep sadness that the family of Edward McIsaac announce his passing on January 21, 2026. Born in Codroy Valley, Edward was the son of the late Neil and Mary Alice (née Hynes) McIsaac. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Maria; Cyril and Anges Ford; and a large circle of in-laws and relatives. Edward was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Left to mourn him with fond and loving memories are his daughters, Samantha (Jason) and Frances (Michael), and his son Jonathan; his treasured granddaughter Tiffany, who was truly his pride and joy; along with a large circle of in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Edward was a school bus driver in the Codroy Valley for over 50 years, a role he took great pride in. Every child who stepped onto his bus was treated as if they were his own. Known throughout the community for his kindness and willingness to help, Edward was always the person people turned to when something needed to be done. He was constantly on the go and rarely sat still. After retiring from driving, he spent his time tinkering with cars and continued to make himself available to anyone in need of a helping hand.
The family would like to extend a warm and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Charles L. LeGrow for the compassionate care shown to Edward in his final days. Special thanks are also extended to his brother- and sister-in-law, Alex and Pauline, who always checked in on him and were true friends throughout his life.
In keeping with Edward's wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24th at 1:00 p.m. at Precious Blood Church, St. Andrews, with interment to follow at Precious Blood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to East Haven Funeral Home,
