It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Douglas James King announces his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre on Wednesday, June 24 ^th , 2020 in his 74 ^th year. Born in St. John's, NL, Doug was predeceased by parents; Cyril and Blanche King, father and mother-in-law; Walter and Ada Jeans, brothers; David (Twin) and Gerald, brothers-in-law; Roy, Charlie, Bill, Walter, Jerome, sister-in-law Dot, Myrtle and his buddy Dean.

Douglas leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories Pat, Angie (Scott), Ben, Emma, Hayley (Jerome) and Kaylie, sisters; Doris (Sandy), Lillian (Leonard), brothers; Walter (Evelyn), Junior (Donna), Ken (Roxanne), sisters and brothers-in-law Ada, Margret, Bernice (Doug), Vera (Clayton), Francis, Basil (Marlene), Gary (Edie) and Molly as well as a large circle of loving nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

In keeping with Douglas' wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service and interment will be held on Saturday, July 4 ^th , 2020 in Harry's Harbour , NL officiated by Major Lacey of the Salvation Army.
