It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Dorothy Marina (Renee) LeRiche announces her sudden passing at her residence on Tuesday August 12th, 2025 at the age of 66 years. Born in Channel-Port aux Basques, NL, Renee was the daughter of the late Phillip and Dorothy (nee Voutier) LeRiche. She was also predeceased by her brothers Roy and Robert; sister in law, Gloria; brother in-law Whylie; and waiting for her at rainbow bridge was Bella, Smokey, Tanner, and Sandy.

She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her daughter Christine (Donny). She will also be missed by her brothers and sisters, Cecil, Wilfred (Hilda), Don (Donnie), Norma, Clara, Florence (Rui), and Stephen (Denise); her fur babies Bubbles, Patty and Harmony; special friends Georgina, Marie and Bob, Bernetta, Velda, Zenith, and Joan; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Renee was a woman with an infectious zest for life, the kind of person who lit up every room she entered with warmth and kindness. She found joy in taking care of others, often expressing her love through the comforting language of food. Her kitchen was always filled with the sweet aroma of freshly baked cookies, pies, and treats—none of which stayed there long, as she delighted in giving everything away to friends, neighbours, and even strangers who needed a little lift. Renee also had a deep affection for animals, especially cats, and took immense pride in her volunteer work at the local cat shelter up until her recent move. She poured her heart into caring for every furry friend that crossed her path. Her generosity and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Friends are welcome to visit on Sunday, August 17th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc, 57 Grand Bay Road. In keeping with Renee's wishes, cremation will taken place. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 2pm at St. James Anglican Church Internment will follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill Donations in Renee's memory can be made to the family.
