It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Dorothy Lorraine Hardy (nee Organ) announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Saturday, July 25 ^th , 2020 at the age of 76 years. Born in Rose Blanche, NL, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Robert Organ and Sabina Taylor (nee Hilliard). She was also predeceased by her husband James in 2012, brother; Ralph Hilliard, father and mother-in-law; Edwin and Theresa Hardy, brothers-in-law Wilfred (Sandra) Hardy, Junior (Jean) Hardy, and sister-in-law; Eva (Don) Anderson.

She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of fond and precious memories her loving children; Sandra (Stuart) Hardy, Marlene (Glenn) Bateman, Melvina (Isaac) Hardy all of Rose Blanche, NL, Tracy (Blake) Boutilier of Coal Harbour, NS, Jerrilynn (Quentin) Taylor of Corner Brook, NL, grandchildren; Jamie (Yvonne) Hardy of Kingston, ON, Travis (Melinda) Hardy of Corner Brook, NL, Vanessa (Frank) Taylor of Eastern Passage, NS, Vaughn (Melannie) Hardy of Dartmouth, NS, Glenda (Dillon) Bateman of Springdale, NL, Santana (Andrew) Throne of Corner Brook, NL, great-grandchildren; Paige, Sierra, Kadience. Teagan, Shiya, Langden, Tanner, Toby and Adalyn. Dorothy also leaves behind her brother; Harry (Eileen) Organ of Harbour Brenton, NL, brothers-in-law; Austin (Judy) Hardy, Melvin (Sheila) Hardy both of Rose Blanche, NL, sisters-in-law; Daphne (Jerry) Birk of North Sydney, NS, Amelia (James) Young of Burgeo, NL, Donna (Gary) Dominie of Rose Blanche, NL, her next-door neighbor and friend Betty Neil plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place on on Monday, July 27 ^th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Tuesday, July 28 ^th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 29 ^th at 2 pm from East Haven Funeral Home Inc officiated by The Rev. Canon Jeffrey Petten. Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Dorothy's memory can be made to the charity of one's choice .
