It is with great sadness that the family of the late Doreen Theresa MacDonald (Piercey) announces her passing on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Dr Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port a ux Basque s, at the age of 81. She was born in Irishtown, NL to Thomas Piercey & Mariah Wall on March 27, 1941.

Doreen was predeceased by her parents; Thomas & Mariah, her siblings; Augustine, Rita, Bernard, Gerard, Mary, Thomas & Madonna. Also, her husband's; Richard MacDonald, Bill Wall & Hallie Miller, her sons; Johnnie, Rick & her granddaughter; Chelsey.

She leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories her; sister Patricia, daughters; Ann Marie (Mike), Bernice (Garnet), Holly (Vince), sons; Tony (Lanie) & RJ (Karin).

She also leaves her precious grandchildren; Jade, Jasmine, Coinneach, James, Mariah, Conlin, Colton, Brooke, Sienna, Destiny, Richard & Murray and 20 great grandchildren, 36 nieces and nephews, cousins, and their families, and so many friends around the valley & across Canada.

In keeping with Doreen's wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a wake at Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church in St. Andrew's on Monday, Sep tember 12 ^th from 6-7:30 p.m.

The f uneral mass will take place on Tuesday, Sep tember 13 at 2 p.m. officiated by Father Ed Terry. Interment f ollowed a t the church cemetery in St. Andrews. There will be t ea, coffee and refreshments at St. Kevin's Hall following the interment .
