It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Dora Hansford (nee Lovell) announces her passing with her loving family by her side at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Wednesday, September 16 ^th , 2020 at the age of 89 years. Born in Isle aux Morts, Dora was the daughter of the late Joshua and Maude Lovell (nee Green). She was also predeceased by her husband John Hansford, father and mother-in-law; Jim and Augustus Hansford (nee Cannock), brothers; Clifford Lovell, George (Cora) Lovell, sisters; Mildred King, Frances (Levi) Keeping, Olive (Thomas) Munden, Violet (Bernard) Payne, sister-in-law; Sarah (Mike) Brophy, son-in-law; Garfield Durnford and dear friend Berthina (Taney) Osmond.

She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of fond and loving memories her loving sons Gilbert (Joan) Hansford of Isle aux Morts, George (Wina) Hansford of New Brunswick, daughter; Linda Durnford of Isle aux Morts. Dora will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Vangie (Brad), Lori (Godfrey) both of Isle aux Morts, Trudy (Guy), Jackie (Russell) both of Sackville, NS, Kristie (Rob) of Corner Brook, John, Ashley, Gabriel, Allison all of New Brunswick, great-grandchildren; Haley, Anna, Jonna, Jenny, Amy, Justin, Josie, Alexander and special niece Paulette Green for the support she provided to aunt Dora.

T he family would like to send a sincere thank you to the staff of the Long Term Care Unit of the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre for taking special care of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We truly appreciate all your hard work over the past 18 months.

Visitation taking place on Thursday, September 17 ^th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18 ^th , 2p m at the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts, officiated by Rev. Nathan Cutler. Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Dora 's memory can be made to the Holy Spirit Anglican Church.
