It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Daniel Gregory Slaney, announces his sudden passing on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 at the Doctor Charles L LeGrow Health Centre, Port aux Basques NL at the age of 59 years.

Born in St. Lawrence, but was currently residing in Doyles, NL. Dan was the son of the late Gregory Slaney of St. Lawrence, NL.

Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories, his mother Jessie Slaney; brother Howie (Lisa) Slaney; sister Jessie Marie Slaney; nephew Jacob Lessard; nieces Alaxa Lessard, Kaitlyn Slaney, and Teri Genereux; plus a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Thursday, February 27th,  from 8-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home, 57 Grand bay Road, Port aux Basques. In keeping with Dan's wishes, cremation will follow with interment taking place at a later date in his hometown of St. Lawrence.
