It is with great sadness that the family of Curtis Smith of Port aux Basques, NL, originally from Hant's County, NS announce his passing Thursday, June 15th, 2023 at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 80.

Curtis was predeceased by his parents Wendell and Florence Smith.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Beatrice; sons, Ronnie (Sheila) and Wade (Dawn); daughters, Valerie (Carter) and Cheryl (Richard); brother, Billy (Juanita); sister, Ida (Charlie); grandchildren, Tegra, Adam, Willow, Herman, Gavin and Trenton; great grandchildren, Mataeo, Lila, Zadia and Weston; step daughters, Roxanne (Ed) and Jackie (Lyndon); step-grandchildren, Matthew and Nicholas; 3 great-grandchildren, Cedric, Prairie and Freya.
In keeping with Curtis's wishes cremation has taken place.
