It is with great sadness that the family of the late Colin David Taverner announces his passing on Tuesday May 2 in Calgary Alberta at the age of 58 years. Colin was predeceased by his parents Colin Sr. and Roma Taverner, brother Bruce Taverner and nephew Danny Taverner. He leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories his brothers; Dennis (Bernice) Taverner of Cape Ray, Stanley (Christina) Taverner of Corner Brook NL, Paul (Ivy) Taverner of Cape Ray, Lloyd (Allanna) Taverner of Cape Ray, only sister Nancy (Edward) Smith Seal Cove CBS NL, sister in law Joan Taverner of Cape Ray and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In keeping with Colin's wishes cremation has taken place. The family are planning an internment later this summer with the time to be announced.
