Our lives were forever changed on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 with the peaceful passing of our son, father, brother and friend, Clyde Matthew Carter at the age of 66 years. Born in Port aux Basques, Clyde is the son of Kathleen Maud Carter and the late Cecil Gerald Carter.

He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his son Matthew Lomond and step daughter Keisha Lynn Lomond. He will also be sadly missed by his mother Kathleen; brothers Max (Cindy) Brian (Debbie) and Reg; nephews Jordan, Aaron, Morgan (Paige), Tony (Genevieve), Zakk, Anthony, Ocean, and Sequoyah as well as a circle of extended family and friends.

Clyde's passions in life were spending time with his family, especially his son Matthew and his friends. He loved fishing, playing darts and berry picking.

The family would like to thank Dr. Nikahd as well as the nurses and staff of Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre.

In keeping with Clyde's wishes cremation has taken place and an interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations are graciously accepted by the family.
