It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Christina Lomond (nee Gillam) announces her sudden passing at her residence in Port aux Basques on Thursday, October 8 ^th , 2020 at the age of 76 years. Born in Grand Bay-Port aux Basques, NL, Christina was the daughter of the late James and Maude Gillam (nee Lomond). She was also predeceased by her husband Clayton Lomond, mother and father-in-law; Melinda and Emmanuel Lomond, infant baby girl; Roxanne, brother; Eric Gillam, sisters; Norah Kettle, Josephine (Alfred) Downey, brothers-in-law; Ted Lomond, Gord Kettle, Randell Hollett, Gerald Dingwell, Charles Matthews, sisters-in-law; Sheila Lomond and Hilda (Nathan) Kettle.

Christina leaves to mourn with a lifetime of fond and loving memories h er loving son Derrick (Rhoda) Lomond of Red Deer, AB, brother; Vincent (Darlene) Gillam of Port aux Basques, NL , sisters; Ada Dingwell, Kathleen (Wilfred) LeRiche, Susie Matthews all of Port aux Basques, NL, Blanche (Eugene) Pike of Codroy Valley, NL, Eva (Dennis) Loader of St. John's, NL, grandchildren; Chad of British Columbia, Deidre of Alberta , great-grandchildren; Theodore and Caiden both of Alberta.

Christina also leaves behind sisters-in-law; Minnie Gillam, Julie Lomond, Fan Kettle and Ratchel Hollett, brothers-in-law; Chesley Kettle, Gordon Lomond and Doug Lomond, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sun day, October 1 1 ^th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. The funeral service will be held on T uesday, October 13 ^th , at 2 pm from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Grand Bay-Port aux Basques officiated by Rev. Faye Coffin . Interment will follow at St. Paul's Anglican Church Cemetery, Grand Bay-Port aux Basques .
