It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charles (Cha) Leamon announces his peaceful passing on Tuesday, January 21 ^st , 2020 at the Long Term Care Unit of Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 85 years. He will sadly missed and forever remembered by his niece Colleen Aucoin (Kirk) great nieces; Roberta Pearce (Stephen) and their children Lexi and Landon, Desiree Aucoin (Brandon Pike), Nikita Samms, great nephew Justin Samms (Brooke) and their children Aubree and Peyton and his brother Gordon Leamon.

He will forever remain in the hearts of his brothers and sisters-in-law; Frank Samms, Lawrence Samms (Louise), Audrey Lomond (Leonard), Taylor Samms, Edgar Samms (Sandra), Ralph Samms, Shirley Leamon, Pauline Samms, Valerie Collier and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Charles was predeceased by his wife Maggie on April 7, 2016, his parents Charles Sr. and Gladys Leamon, brothers; Clarence Leamon (Jean), Reg Leamon (Phyllis), Tom Leamon, mother and father-in-law Elsie and Benjamin Samms, brothers-in-law; Lorenzo Samms, Garland Samms, sister-in-law Mildred Samms, niece Roberta Squires and nephew Michael Leamon.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends on Thursday, January 23 ^rd , from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home, 57 Grand Bay Road. Funeral services taking place on Saturday January 25, 2 pm at Wesley United Church, Port aux Basques with Joan Chaisson officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley United Cemetery, Trans Canada Highway, Port aux Basques. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in Charles' memory can be made to the charity of one's choice.
