It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother Catherine Elizabeth MacNe i l (nee Anderson ) at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques on Tuesday, January 19 ^th , 2021 at the age of 98 years. Born in South Branch , NL, Catherine was the daughter of the late Morgan and Katherine Anderson (nee Doucett). She was also predeceased by her husband s ; Rodrick MacDonald, Gerald Cormier and James MacN eil, children; Felix Anderson, Rodrick (Sharon) MacDonald, sons-in-law; Ronald McIsaac, John MacLean, brothers; Morgan Anderson, Wilson Anderson, sisters; Lillian Anderson, Dorothy Anderson and six grandchildren.

Sh e leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories h er loving children; Florence McIsaac, Dorothy MacLean, Gerald (Helen) Cormier, Veronica (Tom) Roberts, Martin (Violet) Cormier and Carmel Cormier. Catherine also leaves behind her good friend from whom she grew up with Lyle Gallant, plus a very large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and g reat-great-grandchildren as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many, many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21 ^st from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc . The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 22 ^nd , at 2 p m from St. Sylvester's Roman Catholic Church in South Branch officiated by Father Andrew White. Interment will follow at St. Sylvester's Roman Catholic Cemetery in South Branch. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Catherine's memory can be made to t he Canadian Cancer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, Daffodil Place, P.O.
