Betty May
Osmond
Apr 24, 1946 — Jul 1, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Betty May Osmond (nee Feltham), on the 1st of July 2024, at the age of 78 years, at the Western Memorial Long Term Care in Corner Brook, NL with her loving family by her side.
Betty was born in Channel – Port aux Basques to the Late Norman and Mae Feltham (nee Musseau) A loving person whose family meant everything to her. She was a dependable mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Known to be a ball of fun, she always had a kind and friendly nature but you would never know what she was going to say, or when it was going to come with no filter. She loved to spend time at her cabin in the gulch, would never miss a soap opera show, enjoyed riding on the side by side and she dearly loved to go to dances. You would faithfully see her and her best friend Ruby every Saturday at the Legion, on the dance floor; I bet they are dancing in the sky together now.
Betty leaves behind her loving sons Robert (Paula) Osmond and Sheldon (Laurie) Osmond and Danny (Diane) Feltham, who may have biologically been her brother, but she raised and loved as her son. Grandchildren, Melissa (Jonathan), Sheldine (Scott), and Jamie (Holly) and great-grandchild, Claire. Betty was blessed to have gained additional family later in her life who loved her as their own and also called her Nanny Betty; Brandi, Tristan, Taylen, Tori, Trent, Kobi, Jackson, Lucy, Charlotte, Emric and Phillip. She will also be greatly missed by her brother, Wilfred(Jean) Feltham; sister, Grace (Jim) Hinks; as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She is predeceased by; her parents Norman and Mae Feltham (nee Musseau; brother's and sisters, Jack (Mary) and Calvin (Ruby) Feltham, Elizabeth (Robert) Norton, Melida (James) Kettle and Dolly (Nathan) Seymour; sister- in law, Laura Feltham.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Western Memorial Long Term Care, BirchView Unit, Corner Brook, NL for the care given to mom over the last little while. Your compassion is second to none, and did not get unnoticed.
