Passed away peacefully on Friday, November 15 ^th , surrounded by her loving family at the Long Term Care unit of Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre, Bessie Irene Dominie (nee Skinner) at the age of 93 years. Born in Rose Blanche, Bessie was the daughter of the late Arthur and Naomi Skinner (nee Stroud). She was also predeceased by her husband Reginald Dominie, father and mother-in-law William and Jemima (nee Janes) Dominie. sister Annie Hatcher (Wilson), brother Reginald Skinner (Joan), brothers-in-law; Gerald Dominie, Jim Francis and Hiram Keeping.

Leaving to mourn with many fond and precious memories her only daughter Arthena King (Hedley) of Rose Blanche. A loving grandmother and great grandmother she will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren; Dana King (Roxanne) of St. Andrew's, Amanda Verpeide (Rolf) of Norway, Krista King (Katrina) of Mount Pearl, NL. Great grandchildren; Jeremy (Katey), Ashley, Aiden, Naomi, Maya, Linus, Tristan, and Erin. She will also be sadly missed by her in laws; Maude Francis, Gus Dominie (Mabel), Cecil Dominey (Ann), Winston Dominie (Mabel), Walter Dominie (Barbara), Judy Francis (Irvin), Shirley Keeping, Trudi Dominie and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation taking place on Saturday November 16, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at St. Michael's and All Angels Anglican Church, Rose Blanche from where the funeral service will take place on Sunday November 17, 2 pm officiated by The Rev. Jeffrey Petten. Interment will follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Mort Road. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in memory of Bessie can be made to the LeGrow Health Centre Foundation.
