It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Bertha Lushman announces her passing at Dr Charles Legrow Health Centre on Sunday June 16th, 2019 at the age of 60 years. Born on Grey River, NL, Bertha was the Daughter to Mary Coley (Barter) and the late Walter Lushman. Predeceased by her brothers Kevin Lushman (Port Aux Basques) and Walter Lushman (Grey River).

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her long time friend and partner, Thomas Edmunds. Son Walter J Lushman (Amanda) and Grandkids, Brittany Bryan (Brad); Hannah Lushman; Jayden Lushman; Jayme Lushman. Great Grandson Vander Bryan.

Brothers – Albert Lushman (Pam); Hiram Lushman (Sandra); Elias Lushman (Rhonda) Michael Coley (Tracey); Sisters – Dinah Billard (Dave), Edna Lushman; Vanessa Childs (Curtis) and a l arge circle of a unts, uncles, nephews, nieces and friends.

Visitation taking place on Monday from 7-9 pm and continuing on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home. A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday June 19, 2 pm at St. George's Anglican Church in Burnt Islands officiated by Deacons Jane Allen and Kay Osmond. In keeping with Bertha's wishes cremation will follow. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in memory of Bertha can be made to the Port aux Basques Lion's Club.
