It is with great sadness that the family of Bernard "Bern or Bernie" Howse of St. Andrew's, NL announce his passing after a prolonged illness at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Thursday, May 25th,2023 at the age of 80.

Bernard was predeceased by his parents; John (1980) and Nora (1970) Howse. He was also predeceased by his partner, Audrey (2022), daughter; Charmaine (2013), brothers; Blaise (2020), John (2021), Jacob (2014).

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children and stepchildren; Sherry, Rod, Karl, Charlene, Juanita, Deanna, Corina and their families, sisters; Theresa, Regina; brothers, Abraham, Donald, William, Damien, Lloyd; and their families.

Visitation will take place on Monday May 29th,2023 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home, 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques, NL. The funeral will take place on Wednesday May 31st 2023 at 2:00 PM at Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church in St.Andrew's, NL officiated by Rev. Bishop Bart VanRoijen. Interment will follow at Precious Blood Cemetery.
