It is with great sadness that the family of the late Audrey Sophia Hynes announces her passing at the Dr Charles L. Legrow Health Centre on September 23, 2015 at the age of 64 years. She was predeceased by her husband Wilson Hynes; parents William and Irene Bobbett; daughter Tammy Hynes; brother Philip Bobbett; and brother-in-law Lewis Battiste. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Bernadine (Robert) of Port aux Basques, NL and son Jamie Hynes of Fort McMurry, Alberta; sisters Mary Battiste and Bernadine Hoskins (Jerome); brothers Elroy (Linda) Bobbett and Ken (Cluda) Bobbett; seven grandchildren Wilson, Della, Sheldine, Jamie, Tommy, Nicole, and Caitlyn, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation took place on Saturday, September 26 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, Sunday, September 27 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Monday, September 28, 2pm at the Salvation Army Citadel with Lieutenants Christopher & Tonia Street officiating. Interment followed at Salvation Army Cemetery, Port aux Basques, NL. Flowers graciously accepted and donations may be made to the family.
