It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Albert Seymour announces his passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Wednesday, May 29 ^th , 2019 at the age of 74 years. Born in Channel-Port aux Basques, NL, Albert was the son of the late William and Jessie (nee Osmond) Seymour. He was also predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Isaac and Esther (nee Blackmore) Lomond; son Curtis; sisters Winnie Roberts, Marie Herritt; sisters-in-law Hilda Seymour, Sarah Seymour, Edna Matthews; brothers-in-law John Osmond, Isaac Lomond, Philip Lomond, Reg Osmond, George Lomond, Harry (Betty) Lomond, Fred (Ruth) Lomond, Sydney Lomond, and John Lewis Lomond.

He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving wife of 48 years Gladys (nee Lomond) Seymour; son Colin (Cindy) Seymour of Port aux Basques; daughters Connie Heon of Loon Lake, SK, Carla (Bryan) Buttery of Port aux Basques; grandchildren Meghan, Matthew, Kimberly, Chloe, Taylor, Ryan; brothers and sisters Hazel Osmond, Frances (Art) Lomond, Wilson Seymour, Norman (Susie) Seymour, Philip Seymour, Marilyn (Wayne) Dominie all of Port aux Basques; Isreal Seymour (Louise Keeping) of Burgeo; brothers and sisters-in-law Melinda Lomond, Bob (Margaret) Lomond, Rosanna Lomond, Evelyn Osmond, Elsie (Reg) Taylor, Garfield (Sandra) Lomond, Enos (Linda) Lomond, Angeline Lomond, Clyde Herritt and Fred Matthews, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30 ^th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. Funeral services taking place on Friday, May 31 ^st , 11 am at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Grand Bay officiated by the Rev. Clayton Billard, interment will follow at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Trans Canada Highway. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Albert's memory can be made to a charity of one's choice.
